"Students in our program learn to develop life skills through horsemanship. We stress kindness, responsibility, discipline, and persistence and teach children not only to ride well—they first learn all the aspects of taking care of a horse while learning mutual respect and consent. At Faewood Equestrian, students and their families not only learn to take care of horses and ride; they also have an opportunity to learn leadership skills, teaching skills, empathy, and lots of patience. AlignmentHorse: We do not train the rider to train the horse; we teach the rider to teach the horse.
