"We are second generation beekeepers who saw the need honeybees have here in South Central Kentucky. We were just like you, interested in helping our planet but feeling overwhelmed by all the tasks and hoops we would need to overcome to make even the smallest of differences. So we decided to start a small apiary on family shared land to help pollination in our own gardens and the crops of our neighbors. Well... as you might have guessed, we fell in love with the little bugs! We don't call ourselves experts because beekeeping is more of an art than a science. Amanda and I are both educated from WKU, Amanda in Biology and Whitley in Kinesiology; so we are comfortable with the science part of things... but we are still learning the art as we go"
